Love Your Neighbor day is April 22, 2023. Love Your Neighbor day is for people all around the city of Evansville to come together and be a part of some exciting projects taking place in Jacobsville. We would love to invite all neighbors, community stakeholders, or just people who want something to do on Saturday to participate.
This year there are 5 projects across the Jacobsville neighborhood. We have projects for people of all skill levels! All who are interested in participating can meet at the Dream Center at 16 W Morgan Avenue at 9:00 am.
The five projects on LYN day are:
Flower Power- Help host a neighborhood flower giveaway. Volunteers will pot and decorate flowers, and then participate in meeting neighbors to give away the flowers.
Dream Center Clean-Up- Beautify Dream Center's campus for Jacobsville kids and families.
Eichel House- Help revitalize a residential property in the neighborhood.
Jacobsville Park- Clean and improve this neighborhood space.
Street Beautification- Help beautify and improve curb appeal along Michigan Street.
